Basic Event Schedule for Saturday, 4/21:
Part 1: Service Project (in the morning) -- Get out and LOVE on your community!
Time: Morning to Early Afternoon
Location: The Service Project is up to YOU!
Part 2: Worship/Encouragement -- Everyone come together for some pizza, raw worship (led by JPT), highlights from service projects, quick message and GO!
Time: 5:30p-8:00p
Location: NXT GEN Building @ Jacksonville Chapel (Lincoln Park, NJ)
Basic FAQ's about LED 2012:
LED is FREE - no tickets will be sold for this event, everything is being provided by participating churches, organizations and JPT
Since LED is FREE, we need YOU to help promote the event! There is no marketing budget, just a bunch of people totally excited about what God is going to do on 4/21!)
LED is not the brain-child of any church group -- This is all something that God put on the heart of JPT's frontman, M!c Roc (Mike Bossard), and you can be assured there are no individual churches pushing an alternate agenda here. The idea is to start a movement.
Beliefs: We are coming together on what we all agree on -- God created us to love on and bless those around us and to worship him. In doing these things, we're praying that God will activate their hearts and that they will start dreaming of ways to give themselves away in Jesus' name. Expect and pray for diversity.
LED is targeted at Middle & High School students who want to light their communities on fire for God. No worries if you don't think this is you -- we're guessing it will be you by the time the event is done!
